CANDIED ALMONDS WITHOUT ADDED SUGAR

Candied almonds are a classic favorite that are easy to make and taste fantastic. This recipe is also a healthier alternative, as it contains no added sugar. Candied almonds are perfect to enjoy with mulled wine or as a sweet and crunchy snack.
INGREDIENTS
- 85 g Use Like Sugar
- 200 g sweet almonds
- 60 ml water
INSTRUCTIONS
- Roast the almonds in a hot, dry skillet until they are golden brown.
- At the same time, bring the Use Like Sugar and water to a boil in a saucepan. Once it starts bubbling, add the roasted almonds.
- Continue boiling until you hear a crackling sound from the almonds and the sugar mixture coats and sticks to them.
- Pour the almonds onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and gently separate them with a spoon while they cool.
And voilà – your own candied almonds made in a healthy way are ready to enjoy. Perfect when you want something extra delicious and crunchy, but without added sugar.
